Self-promotion isn’t really my style; I prefer to work behind the scenes, supporting larger projects from the background. But since you’re here, I suppose you’d like to know a bit more about me. So, here we go:

I am currently working on some projects in Antwerp and in my hometown of Ghent, Belgium, drawing on the skills and experience I’ve gained from working at IAAPA, Plopsa, and LAGO Waterparks.

In addition, I serve as an academic tutor at IULM University in Milan, Italy, where Adj. Prof. Dr. Massimiliano Freddi and I co-developed a specialized master’s course on ‘Leisure Destinations and Special Events’ for the International Tourism and Hospitality (MITH) program.

I hold an IAAPA Certified Attractions Professional credential and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the leisure industry by attending conferences and webinars, networking with industry professionals, reading academic research, and trade publications. I’ve even created my own tool to keep track of leisure industry news.

With a background in education and training, I enjoy sharing the knowledge I’ve gathered about the leisure industry with students and teams.

On a personal note, I’m engaged to Charline, an inspiring first-grade teacher who shares her insights with fellow educators through her website, InMijnKlas.be. We’re also proud cat parents to our two cats, Toulouse and Gizmo.
